The Franklin Township fire company is having a tough time in accessing a working brush fire along Long Run Road. The fire was first reported along Lock 7 of the Lehigh Canal. Further investigation found the fire in a very remote and heavily wooded area between Long Run Road and the Lehigh River. Additional fire companies are being toned out for assistance.
