State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported a 62-year-old Stroudsburg woman is the victim of a theft by deception.

Police said recently that they were called at 10:11 a.m. April 4 to the Middle Easton Belmont Pike, Hamilton Township.

Police did not provide details of the incident except to say “funds” were stolen from the woman.
