Antique car club hosting benefit car cruise

The Anthracite Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America will hold a benefit cruise on Wednesday (rain date Thursday) from 6-8 p.m. at Heritage Hill Senior Living Community, 800 Sixth St., Weatherly.

All antiques, muscle cars, modifieds, hot rods and motorcycles are welcome.

There will be dash plaques for the first 40 cars.

Enjoy a sentimental trip down memory lane with complimentary hot dogs, beverages and snacks courtesy of Heritage Hill.

All proceeds benefit The Alzheimer’s Association.

Attendees who preregister will have a chance to win a gift card to Advance Auto Parts.

In addition, mark your calendars for the Anthracite Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America’s 39th annual show. The event will be held Sunday, Sept. 14, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Tri-County Little League Field, corner of Grove and Hancock streets, McAdoo. The event is rain or shine.
