It’s safe to go back in the water in Weatherly. or, walk in the woods, or climb a tree, or mow the lawn.
Leaping lizards! The Salvador Water Monitor is home, safe and sound.
A week-long search for a three-foot long lizard that escaped its owner’s home ended Tuesday when the owner, Daniel Huang, found it not far from his Second Street home.
The reports of the lizard’s escape caused some anxious moments in the borough, as residents were warned not to approach the reptile because it could bite, although Huang said reports about its potential danger were overblown.
Weatherly has an ordinance banning exotic animals, but Huang had the lizard before the law took effect.
