Plans are in the works for creation of a $50-million facility, including a sports complex, in the Echo Lake sector of the Poconos.

Planned is a 300-room hotel and 5,000-seat indoor stadium. The 77-acre site is about one-half mile north of Caesar’s Pocono Palace and borders Echo Lake.

One of the partners is Jilly Rizzo, longtime associate of Sinatra.

The investment group needs authorization of the Middle Smithfield Planning and Zoning Board and the township supervisors.
