State police at Lehighton

Police said she was struck in the head by a dog bone that was thrown by a man and had to be taken to the St. Luke’s Miners Memorial Hospital, Coaldale, for an evaluation.

They said the incident occurred when the man became upset while fixing an Xbox controller and threw the bone across the room at the same time the woman was crossing the trajectory path of the bone.
