A Pike County man has died following a two-vehicle crash late Sunday night in Monroe County.

Monroe County Coroner Thomas A. Yanac said Kris Kierski, 60, was pronounced dead on scene at 11:18 p.m. after the crash that occurred on Independence Road in Smithfield Township.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.

The cause and manner of death is currently pending.

The Pennsylvania State Police are conducting their investigation into the crash.
