Fire companies from West Penn Township and New Ringgold were dispatched to a working car fire Thursday morning in West Penn Township. The fire was reported around 10 a.m. as the car was going west on Route 443 near the intersection with Archery Club Road. When the first firefighters arrived on scene they found heavy flames pouring from the engine compartment of the unit. West Penn Township police are investigating the incident.
