One man was flown to the hospital after being trapped on the third floor of a Coaldale home that caught fire.

The fire on the unit block of East Howard Avenue broke out shortly before 7 p.m.

Multiple fire departments responded in addition to Coaldale, including Schuylkill Haven, Pottsville, Tuscarora, Brockton, Cumbola, Nesquehoning, Tamaqua, Lansford and Summit Hill.
