Several people escaped injury Saturday afternoon when involved in a crash along Route 248 at the Parryville exit. One vehicle came to rest along the berm while the second one went over an embankment, traveling down to a bridge almost entering the Pohopoco Creek. Responding were the Parryville and Bowmanstown fire companies, with their fire police maintaining traffic control at the scene. State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
