New York man killed in West Penn crash

The Carbon County Coroner’s office has identified the man killed in a two-vehicle crash in West Penn Township on Tuesday evening.

Arthur Lalor, 80. of Kings Park, New York, was killed as a result of injuries he sustained during the crash that took place at 8:13 p.m. along routes 309 and 895 in West Penn Township.

Lalor, who was the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the crash, was pronounced dead at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Carbon Campus. The cause of death was multiple blunt force trauma due to the crash and was ruled accidental.

In addition to the Carbon County Coroner’s Office, the Pennsylvania State Police and the West Penn Township Police Department are conducting an investigation.
