Hillside Road in East Brunswick Township was closed Tuesday due to a motor vehicle crash. The crash occurred around 2 p.m. when the driver of a pickup was traveling east before losing control, entering the right berm then hitting and snapping off a utility pole. The driver escaped without injury but there was a power outage in the area. Members of the New Ringgold fire company responded, maintaining traffic control at the scene and shutting down the roadway.
