State police at Fern Ridge

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following incidents:

• Two Jim Thorpe men, ages 55 and 26, were arrested for harassment by physical contact after police responded to a physical altercation at 7:40 p.m. June 30 on Fawn Road, Penn Forest Township.

Police said that during the course of the altercation, the younger man punched the 55-year-old in the face and the older man scratched and shoved the 26-year-old.

• David Frantz, 42, of Kunkletown, was cited for criminal trespass after police responded to an incident at 3:02 p.m. July 4 on Bartonsville Woods Road, Jackson Township.

Police said he entered an occupied residence before fleeing on foot and later being located and arrested.

The victim of the incident was listed as the International Gymnastics Camp, Stroudsburg.

• Michael Monfre, 41, of the Bronx, New York, is facing drug possession charges after police made a traffic stop at 4:41 p.m. July 3.

He was stopped in a 2025 Nissan Sentra in the 5300 block of Route 115, Tobyhanna Township, for Motor Vehicle Code violations, after which he was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and related paraphernalia.
