The winners, coached by Pete Labosky, receiver home runs from the Higgins boys — Steve and Lou. Steve Stersen leads the offensive charge for the Nesquers, finishing 4-for-6 at the plate. Three others — Joe Yatsko, Labosky and George Maurer — each collects three hits. Labosky also gains the pitching win, scattering seven hits over his nine innings of work.
