Flash flood watch in effect through Tuesday
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch through late tonight.
Showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain are likely. Localized rainfall totals may reach 3 to 5 inches in just an hour or two, which would result in flash flooding.
. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
