• Reem E. Shalaby, 45, of Albrightsville, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 4:43 p.m. June 30 at the Lehigh Valley Interchange in South Whitehall Township. She was uninjured in the incident.
Police said she was driving a 2024 Nissan Altima southbound while entering the interchange toll booth during a period of heavy rains that contributed to traffic congestion and visibility issues. • No one was injured when material flew off the rear bed of a pickup truck and struck a 2023 Prevost transit bus carrying the driver and 30 passengers at 4 p.m. July 1 at mile marker 65.8 in Washington Township.
Police said Jerry J. Blaker, 54, of Scranton, was driving the bus when a tonneau cover on the back of the truck became dislodged and struck the driver’s side of the bus, causing minor damage.
Police said the pickup truck continued north on the turnpike without stopping.
• A 17-year-old boy from Effort was uninjured in a two-vehicle crash at 2:03 p.m. July 3 at mile marker 80 in Penn Forest Township.
Police said he was driving a 2017 GMC Sierra southbound when a tractor-trailer attempted to change lanes and its passenger side hit the driver’s side rear of his vehicle and continued without stopping.
