The Bailey empire in West Penn Township expanded its services with the addition of PRO Hardware, an international organization offering a large selection of materials that includes numerous brand names from as many as 1,200 companies.

Curtis J. Bailey, president of the company, announced affiliation with the firm as part of his hardware store managed in the township by his daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Jason Steinbrunn.

Bailey began his construction business in the township in 1960, transforming basically a farming region to a rural residential community known as Country Estates. The hardware store opened 14 years ago.

Bailey’s son Kevin, who grew up in the business, is the company’s vice president.
