The Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, Allentown, has cited two regional businesses for allegedly violating state liquor laws. They are:
• Ridgeview Farm & Vineyard, New Tripoli, was cited for offering, selling or delivering a brand or brands of malt or brewed beverages not registered with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
The alleged violations took place between Aug. 1, 2022, and May 28 of this year, police said.
• JCPB LLC, trading as the Crimson House, Pottsville, was cited for selling, furnishing or giving liquor to a customer for consumption off the premises. The alleged violation took place on March 15.
The charges will be brought before an administrative law judge, who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses.
In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge. The judge can also mandate training in an effort to educate them on the requirements of being a licensee.
