The 50th anniversary of Sister Vincent Huber as a Sister of Christian Charity was celebrated with a Eucharistic Liturgy at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Jim Thorpe.

Sister Vincent, nee Leontine Huber, is the daughter of the late Vincent and Emma Huber of Jim Thorpe. She entered the congregation in 1940 and made her solemn profession in the community in 1948.

In her earlier years, she was a teacher at St. Boniface School in Williamsport, until she pursued studies in the field of dietetics, graduating from Fontbonne College, St. Louis, Missouri, then interning at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Since 1951, she has held the position of chief clinical dietitian at Divine Providence Hospital in Williamsport.
