This was my note to Representative Dan Meuser on his voting for the big bill and his response to Governor Shapiro’s response to the bill.

I’ll keep this simple. The bill you voted for does the following in my opinion.

1. Gives huge benefits to the wealthy;

2. Gives crumbs to the middle class and retirees to pacify them;

3. Hurts the poor.

I read your rebuttal to Shapiro’s opinion on the bill. Classic Meuser. There are a few people scamming the system, so your solution to the problem is screw millions of kids, retirees and qualified adults. Additionally, the bill puts an extra burden on the states to implement the required changes. As Joseph Welch ask Senator Joseph McCarthy “have you no sense of decency”.
