Two area students graduated from Pennwood Cyber Charter School, an online public charter school serving K-12 students across Pennsylvania.

The in-person commencement ceremony was held at The Parkesburg Point Youth Center in Parkesburg.

David-Patrick Butler of Jim Thorp and Sean Moore of Tamaqua were among family, friends, and school administrators gathered to honor Pennwood Cyber Charter School’s Inaugural Class of 2025

Among the graduating class, 19% plan to enroll in two- or four-year colleges or universities.
