MFHS expands access to reproductive health services
Maternal and Family Health Services is expanding its commitment to accessible, high-quality care by offering comprehensive reproductive health services at the MFHS Carbon County Center.

WIC services, including certified lactation counseling services, remain available Monday through Friday.
The MFHS Carbon County Center is a one-stop center for women’s health care and nutrition needs, and the addition of reproductive health services ensures even more support for individuals and families in the community. Services are available for both men and women and include:
• STI testing and treatment;
• Pregnancy testing;
• Birth control options;
• Gynecological and pelvic exams;
• Breast and cervical cancer screenings, and;
• Emergency contraception.
Because the cost of MFHS care is determined by income, many appointments are free.
For programs such as reproductive health, services may be available at no cost, at a reduced cost, or may be covered by insurance. Medicaid is accepted. To schedule an appointment or check qualifications for free or low-cost services, call 570- 273-1288.
