The following sentence was handed down recently by Judge James Goodman in Schuylkill County Court:

• Christopher Fox, 38, of Foxboro, Massachusetts, was sentenced to 90 days to five years in county jail on a driving under the influence charge made by state police at Frackville for an incident in Rush Township on Dec. 13, 2021.

Fox will also have to pay the costs of prosecution, plus a $1,500 fine and another $350.

He will have to complete 20 hours of community service and attend alcohol safety school.

• David Starling, 40, of Easton, was sentenced by Judge Christina Hale to 9-23 months in Schuylkill County Prison on a charge of possession of a controlled substance charged by Tamaqua police from an incident April 1, 2021.

Starling must also pay the costs of prosecution and another $363.
