Sherman Theater announces new shows

The Sherman Theater is thrilled to announce the return of Railroad Earth for their beloved Horn-O-Plenty Weekend, a two-night musical celebration on Nov. 28 and 29.

Doors for both nights open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30.

The long-standing Thanksgiving weekend tradition brings fans together for a full-on festival-style experience in the heart of downtown Stroudsburg, featuring two full shows from the jam-grass pioneers.

For over two decades, Railroad Earth has captivated audiences with their unique fusion of bluegrass, rock, folk and Americana.

Known for their spontaneous, high-energy live performances, the band has cultivated a loyal following nationwide, consistently selling out venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre and headlining festivals across the country.

From their breakout debut The Black Bear Sessions to their work on The John Denver Letters, Railroad Earth continues to evolve while staying rooted in heartfelt songwriting and exploratory musicianship.

Horn O’Plenty Canned Food Drive

In addition to the music, the Sherman Theater and Railroad Earth is supporting the local community through the Horn O’Plenty Canned Food Drive.

All nonperishable food donations will benefit the Stroudsburg Area School District’s Backpack Program, helping to provide meals for local families in need.

Guests are encouraged to bring donations to any Sherman Theater show throughout November and drop them off at the Box Office. As a thank-you, all participants will receive a free popcorn coupon.

For tickets and more information, visit shermantheater.com or call the Box Office at 570-420-2808.

The Sherman Theater is Monroe County’s only nonprofit theater and performing arts center. Located at 524 Main St., Stroudsburg, the Sherman Theater has served the Pocono region for 90 years.
