N’western student to compete in Canada for PA Brick Team
One of Pennsylvania’s brightest young hockey talents from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Youth is headed to one of the biggest stages in youth hockey.
Logan Pile, a standout player from the Orefield area and a fourth-grade student at Weisenberg Elementary in Northwestern Lehigh School District, has been named to the prestigious Pennsylvania Brick Team that will represent the state at the 2025 Brick Invitational Hockey Tournament in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, this July.
The Brick Invitational is one of the most highly regarded events in North American youth hockey, bringing together elite 10-year-old players from across the continent for a week-long showcase of top-tier competition and sportsmanship. Held annually at the West Edmonton Mall, the tournament has been a launching pad for numerous NHL careers, and earning a spot on a Brick roster is a major milestone for any young player.
Pile was selected after a tryout process that drew top players from across Pennsylvania and six other states along with three Canadian imports. His inclusion on the final roster reflects not only his individual talent but also his commitment to hard work and team play.
This year’s Brick Invitational runs from June 30-July 6, and promises to be a showcase of the best young talent in North America. Pile and his PA Brick teammates will square off against powerhouse squads from cities such as Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Detroit and Chicago.
With his selection, Pile joins an elite group of players and takes a major step in his hockey journey.
For fans of the game and proud supporters back home, all eyes will be on Edmonton this July as he proudly wears the PA jersey and takes to the ice in pursuit of a Brick Tournament championship.
