June 26, 2001 — Northern Lehigh’s Bo Tkach throws a touchdown pass and has a solid all-around game to help the Colonial League/East Penn team gain a 25-0 victory over the Mountain Valley Conference/Independents squad at the annual McDonald’s Lehigh Valley All-Star Football Classic at Nazareth. Tkach, who carries six times for 26 rushing yards, connects with Pen Argyl’s Anthony Graziani on a 27-yard scoring strike in the third quarter. Pleasant Valley’s Matt Borger intercepts a pass for MVI, while fellow Bear Matt Rapa blocks an extra point. Lehighton’s Dave Parsons coaches the MVI team, while Northwestern’s Bob Mitchell is an assistant for the winning club.
