Inaugural Palmerton Taste Trail set Saturday
Downtown Palmerton is about to be turned into a tasting destination.
The Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation will host the inaugural Palmerton Taste Trail from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in downtown Palmerton.
Designed to showcase the diverse and delicious offerings from Palmerton’s business community, the event seeks to bring together residents, visitors and businesses.
This self-guided, family-friendly event invites attendees to explore Palmerton’s vibrant downtown while sampling unique offerings from local restaurants, retailers and service providers.
Whether it’s a savory snack, refreshing beverage or sweet treat, the Palmerton Taste Trail will showcase the diversity and quality of Palmerton’s business community.
Open to the public, the event will feature numerous businesses in downtown Palmerton, such as One Ten Tavern, Spillanes Fit, Palmerton Pub & Steakhouse, Mana & Mochas, Papa Al’s Pizzeria, Bert’s Steakhouse, My Store, Tranquility Spa and River Rock Bean & Brew.
Non-restaurant participating businesses will be featuring local bites from various commercial kitchens and restaurants throughout the area.
Participants will receive a passport to all participating businesses, which will guide them through the retail, restaurants and other organizations that makeup downtown Palmerton.
Each business will offer a “taste” of something local — whether a unique mocktail or small snack bite.
“We’re thrilled to bring this new experience to Palmerton and provide a fun, interactive way for both residents and visitors to engage with our local businesses,” said Kylie Adams-Weiss, senior vice president of CCEDC. “The Palmerton Taste Trail will highlight the heart and flavors of our town, all while supporting the businesses that make Palmerton a special place to live and visit.”
Event sponsors are PPL Electric Utilities (Passport Sponsor), Blue Mountain Resort (Gold Sponsor), St. Luke’s Carbon (Gold Sponsor), The Neffs National Bank (Supporting Sponsor) and Castle Gate Real Estate (Supporting Sponsor).
