State police at the Hazleton barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 42-year-old Weatherly man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police made a traffic stop at 2:37 a.m. June 8.

He was stopped in a 2018 Ford F-350 for multiple Motor Vehicle Code violations on East Hemlock Street in Hazleton.

• Lauren Miller, 38, of Edison, New Jersey, was cited for retail theft (shoplifting) after police were called to the J & N store, 120 Broad St., Beaver Meadows, at 4:57 p.m. June 4.

They said Miller was caught stealing a purse and water bottle, with a total value of $51.76, from the store.

• Denny Ramirez Rojas, 24, of West Hazleton, was cited for disorderly conduct after police were called to a physical altercation at 11:50 a.m. May 18 on East Kline Road, Banks Township.

Police said the victim is a 64-year-old man from Battle Mountain, Nevada.
