A “Run at the Reservoir” 5K Walk/Run to benefit the Tamaqua Public Library will be held at the Owl Creek Reservoir in Tamaqua beginning at 10 a.m. Aug. 10.

The walk/run will consist of two laps around the reservoir at 172 Owl Creek Road.

There is a fee, and groups of three or more will receive a discount. Those who register by July 19 will receive a T-shirt of their choice.

The top male and female runners will receive a $100 prize, and medals will be awarded to overall male and female runners; overall walker; top three walkers; and top runners in six age groups.

Registration is being taken at the Tamaqua Public Library, 30 S. Railroad St., Tamaqua.
