State police at Bethlehem
State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following incidents:
• A 24-year-old Allentown man was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana following a June 6 traffic stop in Whitehall, police said.
• Shane Cox, 55, of Coplay, was charged with disorderly conduct on June 8 after he had been lighting off fireworks all day, despite being told to stop, police said. Cox said that he was igniting the fireworks to perturb his neighbors, according to police.
• Johnelsy Rodriguez, 18, of Catasauqua, was taken into custody on suspicion of operating a vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance at 5:04 p.m. on May 24 on Airport Road in Allentown, police said.
• A 15-year-old boy from Webster Springs, West Virginia, was charged with harassment by physical contact after he punched a 14-year-old boy in the head several times on Kidspeace Drive in North Whitehall Township at 3 p.m. on June 4, police said.
• Police will file charges against a 37-year-old Allentown man who made terroristic threats and waved around a knife at the Target store in Hanover Township at 6:48 p.m. on June 4.
• Police cited the AT&T business on Airport Road in Hanover Township for false alarms after responding to four false alarms in a short period of time, police said. The business was cited on June 5.
• David Akus, 55, of Bethlehem, was cited for drug possession following a traffic stop on the Schoenersville Road off-ramp in Bethlehem on March 19. Police said Akus was in possession of a green leafy substance.
• Romeo Julbe, 19, and Daniel Diaz, 27, both of Mount Carmel, were charged with drug possession after they were found with marijuana during a traffic stop on Airport Road in Hanover Township on Jan. 15, police said.
• Police are investigating a criminal mischief incident that left a 2009 Subaru damaged. The victim is a 45-year-old Slatedale woman, and the incident occurred on Main Street in Washington Township on June 5, police said
• Police are investigating the theft of $155 in merchandise from the Target store in Hanover Township. Police said a man stole a trimmer, water, lemon, lime and medicine just after noon on June 4.
