Lehighton’s Repsher headed to Bloomsburg

Lehighton track and field standout Emma Repsher plans on going to Bloomsburg University to continue her academic and athletic careers.

Repsher won the javelin event at the Colonial League meet and finished second at districts, which qualified her for states.

She also played basketball and soccer for the Indians, and plans to major in nursing.

Attending a signing ceremony at the high school with her were her parents Megan and Jefferey Repsher Jr. and brother Emmett, Lehighton AD Kyle Spotts, Indian head track and field coach Erica Pagotto, Lehighton throwing coach Gwen Remaley and Lehighton high school Principal Sue Howland.

Lehighton’s Emma Repsher will continue her academic and athletic careers at Bloomsburg University. Repsher plans on being a member of the Huskies track and field team.
