A Forty Fort man was seriously injured when his vehicle crashed and caught fire, state police at the Bethlehem barracks said.

Ian Nelson, 30, was traveling east on Route 22 near Schoenersville Road at 11:55 a.m. May 24 when he lost control, hit a guide rail, and the vehicle caught on fire, police said.

Nelson was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg, by the Bethlehem Township Volunteer Fire Company, according to police.
