A recent letter regarding President Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” left a lot to be desired. It was rife with the usual empty Democrat platitudes, lacking facts with supporting data. I would like to share a dose of reality with the fake news watchers. The “OBBB” will do the following:

1) A recent report from the Council of Economic Advisers shows the legislation will produce up to $13,300 more in take-home pay for a typical family and up to $11,600 more in wages for American workers.

2) Delivers an additional $1,300 tax cut for the average American family.

3) Tax relief: Up to $1,750 for overtime workers. $1,700 for tipped workers. Up to $450 for seniors.

4) American small businesses will see $750 billion in economic growth.

5) Ends $500 billion in Biden-era tax breaks and special interest giveaways to the wealthy, big corporations, and China.

6) The bill saves more than $1.6 trillion in mandatory spending.

7) According to Peter Navarro, Senior Counselor for Trade and Manufacturing: When including tariff revenue, the projected budget impact from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act ranges from a modest $300 billion increase in the debt under the 2.2 percent growth assumption to as much as a $2 trillion surplus under the 2.7 percent growth assumption. Update: Second quarter real GDP growth is now estimated at 4.6 percent.

8) The “One Big Beautiful Bill” does not cut Medicaid for the most vulnerable. It targets the waste, fraud and abuse in the Medicaid program (for example: removing 1.4 million illegal immigrants from the program), according to Rep. Erin Houchin, R-Ind.

9) Locks in and boosts the doubled Child Tax Credit for more than 40 million families.

10) Expands 529 education savings accounts to empower American families and students to choose the education that best fits their needs, whether it is K-12 materials or obtaining a postsecondary trade credential.

As evidenced above, Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill makes American families and workers thrive again. America First! Promises made, promises kept, by President Trump.
