First round of antlerless licenses on sale June 23
The Pennsylvania Game Commission announced some changes for the 2025-2026 antlerless license sales. You will be able to purchase your hunting and doe licenses at county treasurers’ offices, PGC online and/or any authorized in store license issuing agent.
The Schuylkill County Treasurer’s Office will open at 8 a.m. the first day of each round.
In order to access hunter information, the Schuylkill County Treasurer’s Office is no longer able to use Social Security Numbers. A Customer Identification number as well as driver’s license number will be required.
The hunting license schedule and antlerless deer license availability is as follows:
June 23: Residents first round antlerless deer- WMU of choice available, limit of one antlerless license
July 7: Non-residents/residents may get first round antlerless deer license; limit of one antlerless license
July 2: Second round for residents and non-residents; two antlerless licenses allowed, (upon WMU availability)
Aug: 11: Third round for residents and non-residents. DMAP available; 3 antlerless licenses allowed, (upon WMU availability).
Aug. 25: Fourth round for residents and non-residents; 6 antlerless licenses (upon WMU availability)
WMU’s 5C and 5D may purchase additional antlerless licenses (up to 15)
The Pennsylvania Game Commission will send a mass mailing reminder to registered disabled veterans and landowners.
Pre-Qualified Landowner licenses will be available for purchase in the Schuylkill County Treasurer’s Office, June 16, beginning at 8 a.m. for both PA residents and non-residents.
The cost of this license will be $6.97 for Pennsylvania residents and $26.97 for non-residents.
