Jacqueline Frankie Kokinda of Nesquehoning graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia on May 17.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in chemical biology and a minor in autism behavioral studies.

Kokinda was a McNulty Scholar, Kinney Scholar and resident assistant. She was also the leader of Project Sunshine.

She was in the Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Society and Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit Honor Society, and also earned the American Institute of Chemists Award.

She is currently applying to physician assistant school and working at Lehighton Ambulance as an EMT.

Kokinda is a 2021 graduate of Panther Valley High School, where she was salutatorian and class president.

She is the daughter of Arty and Terri Kokinda and the granddaughter of Arty and Sonya Kokinda and Ann Marie Fritzinger and the late Wayne Fritzinger.
