Normaris Casimiro, 18, of Reading, was cited for following too closely after a two-vehicle crash in Lower Macungie Township, state police at the Fogelsville barracks said.

No one was injured in the crash, which occurred at 3:51 p.m. June 4 on U.S. Route 22, police said.

Casimiro was driving a 2009 Mercedes-Benz southbound when it “rear-ended” a 2023 Subaru driven by Megan A. Wirth, 40, of New Tripoli, after the latter had stopped for traffic, according to police.

The Mercedes had disabling damage and was towed from the scene, police said, while the Subaru had minor damage.
