State police at Frackville
State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:
• Timothy Hagedorn, 38, of New Ringgold, was cited for criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and harassment after police were called to the New Ringgold Fire Company, East Railroad Avenue, New Ringgold, at 10:59 a.m. May 16.
Police said he trespassed on the fire company’s property after having been told to leave the premises, and then reportedly shouted expletives at members of the company.
• Police said a person was arrested on charges of violating a Protection From Abuse court order after they were called to West Phillips Street in Coaldale at 9:01 p.m. May 12.
A 30-year-old woman from Nesquehoning told police she and the suspect were involved in a domestic dispute that escalated when the man choked and physically assaulted her.
• Police responded to an attempted theft by deception/extortion incident at 9 a.m. April 19 on Dogwood Lane, Rush Township. They did not provide any details of the incident.
• A 42-year-old McAdoo man is the victim of a terroristic threats incident police were called to at 8:04 p.m. May 26 on Pine Street in Kline Township.
Police did not provide any further details on the incident.
• Jonathan Stevens, 23, of Drums, was cited for retail theft (shoplifting) after police were called to the Walmart store on Plaza Drive, Hometown (Rush Township) at 7:27 p.m. May 31.
Police said an asset protection employee at the store caught Stevens putting assorted Lego and Pokemon cards into his handbag. The items are valued at $109.72, police said.
• Shannon Doan, 36, of Wilkes-Barre, was cited for retail theft (shoplifting) after police were called to the Walmart store on Plaza Drive, Hometown (Rush Township) at 5:21 p.m. May 31.
Police said it is alleged she was caught by a store’s asset protection employee as she tried to steal $215.05 worth of merchandise.
• A 27-year-old man from Frackville is the victim of a harassment incident police were called to at the State Correctional Institute, Altamont Boulevard, Ryan Township.
Police said the incident took place on May 30.
• A 53-year-old Nesquehoning woman reported someone was trespassing on her property on Deer Trail, Rush Township.
• Police were called to a scattering rubbish incident at 8:16 a.m. May 16 on the Vulcan Hill Road, Mahanoy Township.
They said a representative of the victim, Black Desert Holdings, Pittston, reported someone dumped garbage bags and various construction materials on the land.
