Diakon Community Services is administering the 2025 Senior Farm Market Nutrition Program in Schuylkill County. They will also be distributed on certain days around the county, including from 10 a.m. to noon June 18 at the West Penn Township Building, 27 Municipal Rd., New Ringgold; from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 25 at the McAdoo Borough Building, 23 Hancock St., McAdoo; from 4 to 6 p.m. July 2 at Geisinger St. Luke’s Hospital, 100 Paramount Blvd., Orwigsburg; from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 30 at Zukovich’s Farm, 432 Fairview St., Tamaqua; and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 7 during Senior Day at the Schuylkill County Fair, Summit Station.
No application is needed if vouchers are picked up in person at a distribution site. Vouchers will not be mailed. If a senior cannot attend in person, a designee may pick up the vouchers on their behalf with a completed proxy form available at www.diakon.org/community-services. One set of vouchers is available to an eligible person each year. Guests at nursing homes or other residential facilities that provide meals are not eligible.
