Open house on Sunday at museum in Lansford

The Lansford Historical Society will hold its annual Spring Open House from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at its museum on East Bertsch Street in Lansford.

The WMGH “Magic Polka Machine” program with Polka Joe Manjack will broadcast live from the museum from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. People are invited to come out and see Polka Joe in person and make polka requests for the region’s premier polka program on the air each Sunday.

Visitor can also browse the newest historical exhibits in the Lansford museum, while listening to the music and enjoying free refreshments and goodies.

The museum is packed with many amazing pieces of local history and exhibits.

The annual open house will be held rain or shine to celebrate the rich history of Lansford and the Panther Creek Valley.
