Madison Schmid, a senior at Pleasant Valley High School and diesel technology student at MCTI, is the recipient of the Fourth Annual Integrity Scholarship sponsored by the Yozwiak family. Scholarship Chairperson Donna Yozwiak, shown here with Schmid, presented the award to her at MCTI. Schmid has demonstrated integrity by volunteering with the nonprofit organization Forever 6 Foundation and as a co-op student who works at J & R Excavating in Palmerton. She plans to continue her studies in diesel technology at Universal Technical Institute in Exton. Schmid resides with her family in Effort and plans to become a specialized Cummins diesel technician.
