May 30, 1952 — Nesquehoning uses a two-run seventh inning to pull out a 3-2 Tri-County League victory over Lehighton. The Nesquers, who were held hitless up to that point, receive a double from Johnny Feddock and RBI singles from Pete Morgans and Joe Fauzio to account for the tying and go-ahead runs. Bob Higgins gains the victory, finishing with a four-hitter while walking two and striking out nine. Feddock scores a pair of runs, as his first tally comes on a hit batter, stolen base and an error. Lee Kuntz suffers the hard-luck loss, allowing just the three hits while fanning 12. Hill collects two hits for Lehighton.
