The Bandstand Committee of the Concourse Club of Palmerton announces the start of its 37th annual Sunday Summer Concert Series. Free concerts are held each Sunday evening through Aug. 17.

“Our lineup this year features a mixture of country, oldies, classic rock, polkas and concert band favorites. We are very excited to bring some new bands to the bandstand,” said committee co-chair Joann Kercsmar. “The Castaway Band, The Cramer Brothers Band and Last One Standing will all perform for the first time with our series. Concert goers only need to bring a lawn chair and enjoy.”

The concerts are held in the Palmerton Borough Park Sundays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in June and July and 6:30-8 p.m. in August.
