Franklin Township supervisors took the following action recently:

• Hired Lukas Johnson as work crew personnel, $16 an hour, effective May 19.

• Hired Joshua DeWire as work crew personnel, $16 an hour, effective April 24.

• Approved a $2 an hour pay increase for employee No. 131.

• Approved a $1 an hour pay increase for employee No. 130.

• Awarded bids for road materials to Lehigh Asphalt Construction in the amount of $312,610.

• Awarded a bid for seal coating on various roads within the township to Pocono Spray Patching Inc. in the amount of $79,843.

• Adopted a resolution authorizing and implementing changes to the designated pension plan officials for the nationwide pension case 10519.

• Approved to use Bunker Hill Field from the day care from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 13.
