Local Roundup: Results from May 19
Panther Valley ended its season on a winning note, defeating Williams Valley on Monday.
BASEBALL
Williams Vy.-Panther Valley
Gavin Yuricheck knocked in four runs, three on a homer and another on a bases-loaded walk, to help Panther Valley end its regular season with a 7-4 victory over Williams Valley.
Yuricheck connected for his three-run blast during a five-run second inning. Cameron Caffery added an RBI single during the frame.
Chase Krynock finished 3-for-4 with a single, double and triple. He scored one run and knocked in another. The Panthers, who ended with three straight wins, also received a pair of hits from both Caffery and Logan Fisher. Caffery added two runs.
Brady Jones earned the win, going all seven innings and allowing four hits and three earned runs while striking out five.

Chase Llewellyn had two hits and knocked in three runs to help Franklin Township gain a 13-9 Senior Connie Mack victory over Wilson.
Llewellyn, the game’s winning pitcher who allowed just one earned run and struck out five, also scored a pair of runs.
Luke Haydt added two hits to the winning cause, while Braylon Hunsicker and Brock Atwood both finished with a hit and two runs. FT also received a triple and two RBIs from Logan Bellis.
Brady Stubits chipped in with two RBIs and closed out the game on the mound, giving up no earned runs and striking out five.

A strong pitching performance by Robbie George helped Palmerton earn a 5-3 Junior Connie Mack victory over the Williams Black Sox on Saturday.
George allowed no earned runs, two hits and one walk in 4 1/3 innings while striking out eight. Reliever Cade Serfass closed the game with 2 2/3 innings, giving up just one hit and fanning three.
Xavier Ahner had two hits, a run and an RBI for the winners, while Jayden Rivera, George, Ahner and Connor Walterick all contributed an RBI.
