A truck driver from Brooklyn, New York, was killed Friday morning in a crash on Interstate 80.

State Police at Fern Ridge said Sherzodjon Farhadov, 23, was driving a Freightliner Cascadia on Interstate 80 East when he lost control at 7:51 a.m. at mile marker 275.9 in Kidder Township.

Police said tractor trailer left the road and multiple trees.

He was pronounced dead on scene by the Carbon County coroner’s office.
