Jim Thorpe graduate Nicole Carroll recently captured the 800-meter title at the PSAC Track and Field Championships for Lock Haven.

Carroll crossed the line in 2:14.83, giving Lock Haven its first 800-meter champion since 2000.

The sophomore also earned 2025 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Atlantic Region honors, the organization announced on Wednesday.

All Region honors were announced following the conclusion of the regular season and conference championship meets.

Carroll earned the honor by finishing the season ranked No. 4 in the 800-meter with a time of 2:14.83 at the 2025 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
