State police at the Pocono barracks reported the following crashes that occurred on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike:
• Meghan Patel, 39, of East Windsor, New Jersey, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 10:08 a.m. April 26 at mile marker 93.8 in Kidder Township.
Police said she was driving a 2023 Tesla northbound when she lost control of it and it struck the center concrete barrier.
• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 10:08 a.m. May 2 at mile marker 72 in East Penn Township.
An unidentified vehicle traveling north merged into the left lane and struck the passenger side of a 2024 Tesla operated by Gordon Lim, 26, of Orefield, police said.
• Robert M. Hern Jr., 28, of Morton, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 6:32 p.m. May 4 at mile marker 90.1 in Kidder Township. He was uninjured in the incident.
Police said he was driving a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 southbound during a heavy rainstorm when he lost control of the truck and it struck the center concrete barrier.
• Jason F. Gulla, 45, of Palmerton, was cited after a two-vehicle crash at 6:15 p.m. May 5 at mile marker 85.3 in Penn Forest Township. No one was injured in the incident.
Police said he was driving a 2011 Ford Mustang southbound when he lost control of the car. It traveled off the right side of the road, police said, hit the guide railing, traveled back across the road backward and then struck the passenger side of a 2017 Kia Sorento driven by Christopher F. Metz, 66, of Chesterbrook, who was also southbound.
