State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following crashes:
• A 41-year-old Effort woman is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol following a two-vehicle crash at 10:53 p.m. May 10 on Silver Spring Boulevard, Eldred Township.
Police said she was driving a vehicle north when she failed to stop for a vehicle that was backing into a driveway off Silver Spring Boulevard, striking it head-on. Police said both vehicles had disabling damage.
The driver of the vehicle that was struck was a 58-year-old man from Stroudsburg. They said eight teenagers from the Effort and Kunkletown areas were also involved. There were no injuries reported, police said.
• No one was hurt in a two-vehicle crash at 10:20 a.m. May 9 at the intersection of Hamilton Road and Route 115 in Ross Township.
Police said the crash occurred when Nanette S. Debartolo, 69, of East Stroudsburg, driving a 2020 Subaru Forester, stopped at a stop sign on Hamilton Road and abruptly reversed, striking a 2024 Nissan Altima operated by Jodie L. Rahaley, 42, of Wind Gap, who was stopped.
Police said Debartolo fled the scene but was identified after Rahaley was able to take a photograph of the woman’s vehicle car and license plate.
Debartolo was cited for multiple Title 75 offenses, according to police.
