The Diocese of Allentown has established a special St. Teresa Recovery Fund to assist the Perpetual Adoration Chapel at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish in Mahanoy City.

On May 6, an explosive device detonated inside the church; no one was injured. The suspect was apprehended and charged. Still, the chapel, a place of prayer, comfort and healing, must remain closed pending costly repairs.
