With two days of competition complete, South Carbon County is holding onto the lead. But it’s still anyone’s game.

The weeklong senior games event includes 227 seniors divided by age group and geography.

The standings are North Carbon County: Jim Thorpe with 89 points, Panther Valley with 29 points, and Weatherly with 43 points, for a combined team score of 161; and South Carbon County: Lehighton with 128 points and Palmerton with 148 points, for a combined team score of 276.

Some events changed because of the weather.

Miniature golf scheduled for Friday has been canceled. It could be rescheduled for Thursday, May 15, depending on the weather.

The schedule for Monday and Tuesday will also change: Tuesday’s events move to Monday, and Monday’s events to Tuesday.

Bowling, which was supposed to be on Monday, will now be on Tuesday, and the outdoor events that had been scheduled for Tuesday will now be on Monday.
